PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil-resistant paper high in transparency, excellent in oil resistance and high in glossiness of a surface having an oil-resistant layer and a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: There is provided an oil-resistant paper having at least one layer of oil-resistant layer containing a pigment, a styrene-butadiene copolymer and polyvinyl alcohol on at least a single face of a paper substrate and having basis weight of the oil-resistant paper of 20.0 to 90.0 g/m, basis weight and opacity of the oil-resistant paper satisfying the following formula Op≤31.09 Ln(Wt)-60.96, where Op represents opacity (%) and Wt represents basis weight (g/m), and 75 degree glossiness of a surface having the oil-resistant layer of the oi-resistant paper of 35% or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
