Horizontal pivot axle for trailer drawbar - has sealed bearing with plastic liners and tensioning clamps

The trailer drawbar (7) is hinged about a horizontal pivot axle (1) in the front axle of the trailer. The pivot axle (1) is threaded through a sleeve (6) welded to the drawbar and is secured against rattling by a plastic bearing lining (6a) inside the sleeve. The ends of the pivot axle are located in sleeve ends welded to fitting holes in the vehicle chassis (3) with the pivot axle secured by clamps and tightening bolts (2a). The dividing lines between the drawbar sleeve and the sleeve ends have sealing rings (8) to prevent entry of water and dust.
