The flushing equipment esp. of PVC is for mounting in the flushing tank of a water closet system, an adjustable float valve determining the maximum charge in the tank, while the outlet is controlled by a conventional valve with actuating lever. A moveable outer ring slides axially over an inner one. acting as a guide and incorporating the valve with base flange and outlet ports. The maximum height of the movable ring in relation to the surrounding water is such that after completion of a small flushing operation it determines the quality of water remaining behind. For complete emptying of the tank, the outer ring and the valve are actuated together by an additional lever and transmission mechanism.
