[Also in Divisions H1 and H2] An electric switch and fluid control valve assembly for use in a windscreen wiper and washer installation, comprises a hollow rod 4 movable axially by a manual control knob 5 to engage or disengage a contact bridge 8 with switch contacts 9, 10, and 11, the rod 4 being also rotatable to adjust a potentiometer 12 for regulating the speed of the windscreen wiper motor. Additionally a control rod 7 passing coaxially through the rod 4 is movable axially by a push button 6 to move a valve'member 26 from its seat to actuate the windscreen washer. |
