Contactless temp. monitoring device - has ferromagnetic insert and magnet on rotating part with pulse generator in its immediate neighbourhood

The contactless temp. monitoring device is esp. for rotating machine parts pref. of brake drums. The drums are provided with at least one insert on its periphery. The insert consists of a ferromagnetic material screened by a heat conducting, non-magnetic material. An inductive pulse generator is mounted near the insert path and connected through an amplifier to an output relay. A magnet is allocated to each ferromagnetic insert and mounted on the insert side opposite the pulse generator inside a common screen. When a field of force cuts the coil (8) of the initiator it generates a pulse which is amplified by the capacitor (9) connected in parallel and rectified by a diode (10).
