The hydrostatic power transmission provides load compensation and has an I.C. drive motor for hydraulic pumps of adjustable volume. Each pump is connected to a hydraulic circuit to supply a pressure medium, with hydraulic actuators connected to the circuit. A path valve group controls the medium flow in each circuit to the actuator. Pressure reducing valves in the circuits reduce the max. press. When the load of one or more actuators requires a higher pressure, and/or an increased medium supply, than is present in the circuit concerned, and after the control pressure of the path valve (58) concerned, has reached or exceeded a predetermined value, the valve opens a connection from the conduit of the valve to a power demand conduit (66, 67). This leads to a hydraulic control actuator (65), which activates an adjusting member (64) to change the motor RPM (53). The motor RPM is adjusted dependant upon the circuit, in which the highest RPM for the pumps (54, 55) is required.
|
