<p>Normally the flying time of remotely controlled model aircraft is limited by the charge of the accumulator. The present model is fitted with small wind drive generators which deliver current to a voltage generator, for supplying the aircraft system. An accumulator although not strictly necessary can be wired into the circuit for use when the aircraft is gliding. Such an accumulator is relatively small and would be recharged by the generator which could also supply current for lamps etc.</p> |
