The grinding machine is for the blades on the rotary cylinder of a mowing machine equipped with a stationary knife and grinds them in situ without having to remove either cylinder or knife. It can be fixed to the underside of the knife bracket, being moved parallel to the knife as the blades are ground. It can be also have an adjustable frame in which a support is guided, adjustable in relation to the knife. The support accommodates a knife-grinding tool.
