<p>Heating plate for moulding presses used in mfr. of plastics or rubber band or strands, has one or more cooling zones pref. its lateral regions. The cooling zones are formed by Peltier elements. Arrangement is .g. usd for bonding sections of PVC-coated or -impregnated belting together. It facilitates delimiting and demarketing contiguous sections of bands, hoses etc. to be vulcanised, thermally against one another esp. near the entrance to a vulcanising press. This prevents both excessive and insufficient action of heat in the cones of transition from one section to the next.</p> |
