PURPOSE: To provide an appearance suitable for slats of a blind and assure a sufficient strength by, after laminating a fabric band-shaped body on a metal band-shaped body and rolling it cylindrically, bending a side portion of the band-shaped body in U-shape. CONSTITUTION: A fabric band-shaped body 12 is laminated on a metallic band- shaped body 11 so as to roll it in a cylindrical outer shape. Next, each of the vertically side part of the metallic band-shaped body 11 is bent so that it becomes each of U-shaped seamed parts connected to each other at a seamed part. Then, a blind rail 13 suitable for slats of a Venetian blind is formed. At the compressive and pressing steps of a production process, the thickness of the fabric band-shaped body is reduced from a specified size of three times the thickness of the metallic band-shaped body to a specified size of two times the thickness of that body. |
