Automatic discharge system for bulk carrier - with conveyors under hopper bottoms on each side of hold

The bottom sections of the holds of the bulk carrier are shaped as hoppers to direct the cargo to set points from where it is dragged out of the hold by rotating impellers (1) and dropped onto conveyors (5, 6) under the hoppers. The conveyors move the cargo to hoists for discharge. The impellers are set at the same angle as the hopper slopes and can be rotating wheels or oscillating arms. The carrier can be discharged in a controlled way in any type of sea and even with a large list.
