<p>The straps are fitted permanently to a pair of skis and enable these to be fixed back to back for carrying. One strap (4) is mounted each end, the mounting being a rubber or plastic block (8). The fixed end of the strap is enlarged and held in a slot, its free end terminating in a grip (6) and a buckle loop (7). With the skis (1, 1') back to back, each buckle (7, 7') is diagonally opposite its partner on the other ski. The straps are elastic and are extended and wrapped round until each buckle can hold in a hook (9, 9') moulded into the opposing block.</p> |
