<p>The rail vehicles serve for transport of liquid pig iron or crude steel. It is made possible to obtained simultaneously the sum of the chassis left and right-hand wheel pressure in order to obtain empty or nearly empty weight, and also the tare weight, and before or after this to determine gross weight for calculation of the net weight of a filled vehicle. Weights of the left and right-hand sides are determined and displayed separately. They are combined, displayed and recorded to obtain total weight. An acoustical or optical display may be included to give absolute threshold values as a percentage ratio of left or right wheel pressure to the total.</p> |
