The newspaper container has an interchangeable string dispenser, with two rolls of string from which the strings (3) pass through holes (2) at the top of the container. These enable the newspapers to be bound together when the container is full. The rolls (1) can be interchanged as necessary, while an opening is provided at the front to allow removal of the papers. The design allows old papers to be easily referred to up to 35 days back, and then bound up into a compact packet for the dustbin etc.
