The guide element is for push rods, esp. in redundant electrohydraulic servo units of aircraft control systems. The guide element consists of a bearing bush, which is split several times in a longitudinal direction. The bearing bush is fixed to the housing of the servo unit via two telescopic cone rings which accommodate the bush. The cone rings are supported in the longitudinal direction by compression springs. The rings and front faces of the bush are in a drive connection, to be able to move the rings away from each other against the force of the springs.
