The orifice is incorporated into a plug which is cylindrical on the outside and has an external thread at one end in order to fix it to the gas bottle. The inside of the plug is bored out in order to take a flexible point (28). The cylinder is blanked off at the inner end, the blanked portion being opened with a slit (20) which is tapered to a point (24) at the inner end of the slit. A re-inforcing element is located in a groove cut into the internal gas passage.
