<p>The waste sludge (fats or oils, water and heavy solids) is allowed to rest in a container connected to a waste supply until oil and grease is collected on the surface and the solids have settled. The fat is removed from the top and water is drained. The solids are then removed. The container has a slide pushed between water and grease for collection and removal purposes. This slide is moved on a frame which travels on two parallel edges of teh container.</p> |
