1480983 Photo-copying apparatus G RITZERFELD 25 Sept 1975 [11 Feb 1975] 39271/75 Heading G2A A photo-copying apparatus has a first imagebearing original, and a second image-bearing original partially masking the first, and a further masking means for the first original, the two originals being relatively displaceable so as to vary the gap between the two masking portions through which the visible portion of the first original is copied. The arrangement is similar to that disclosed in Specification 1481148 but in the present case a second original acts as one of the masking means. The two originals are supported on a glass plate 1, heading original 25 below and partly masking the line original 26. These are each held by a clamping device, so that either can be moved to the left or right with respect to the other. Thus any lines on the line original can be brought alongside the heading original. A transparent strip 28 carrying a number of opaque masks such as at 31 can be wound across between reels 29 and 30, and this may be manually controlled so as to bring any of the masks into any position. The transparent strip 28 itself may carry material which is also projected and copied.
