<p>The control system is for an electro-hydraulic appliance, esp. for use at the coal face. The appliance has a pump, to supply a pressure medium via a conduit to a consumer. There is a pressure medium return (L) between the source (12) and a point on the supply (13) upstream from the pump (10). The pump has a drive (2). The return contains a normally closed flow return valve (16), which may be opened, to allow the pressure medium coming from the pump to return to the source. The drive has an electric motor actuated by a start/stop switch (8). The motor is connected to an energy source via a supply switch (4). This switch is closed by the closing of a pilot circuit, containing the start/stop switch. The pilot circuit is interrupted by opening the flow valve (16).</p> |
