INPUT DEVICE FOR GRADATION CORRECTING CURVE

PURPOSE:To improve the operability at input by providing a pointing device and a CRT display device to input a gradation correction curve based on an image with the operation that a cursor displayed on a display screen of the CRT display device is moved by the pointing device. CONSTITUTION:A registration number of a gradation curve is inputted from a keyboard, a mouse 10 is matched with a prescribed position on an exclusive pad 101 and the mouse 10 is moved sequentially along the gradation curve on the image. Then the X, Y coordinates on the exclusive pad 101 corresponding to an input point position 102 of the mouse 10 is transferred sequentially via a memory to an arithmetic circuit 12 and a memory 13, transferred to a display circuit 15 and displayed sequentially on the display screen of a CRT 16. The X, Y coordinates are stored sequentially as the corrected graduation curve in a gradation correction table of the memory 13.
