摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a magnification-changing process of image data in the main and sub direction at a high speed, for the purpose of reducing degradation in an image quality and the like such as constitution of an irregular line width after conversion. <P>SOLUTION: A conversion pattern is applied to convert image data in accordance with the write-in position of the pixel in the main scanning direction corresponding to each position of a plurality of emitting-element array units, when the pixel density in the main scanning direction written-in to a photoreceptor is magnified as (2B+1)/2 times, and the pixel density in the sub direction as m(2B+1)/2 times; by converting the image data at each matrix in the n×n pixels using a conversion pattern, and magnifying m times the write-in timing of the image in the sub scanning direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p>
