PURPOSE:To produce the subject molded boiled rice not deformed, having excellent preservability, portability and workability and useful for stand-up parties, etc., by charging boiled nonglutinous rice into an arbitrary mold, press-molding the rice and subsequently tightly packing the molded rice with a plastic film. CONSTITUTION:Nonglutinous rice boiled by the ordinary method is charged e.g. into a stick-like mold having a diameter of 30mm and a length of 120mm, press-molded by a compression force of 1-2Kg/cm<2> and subsequently tightly packed with a plastic film 2 to provide the objective molded rice 1. |
