Insulating,light-wt foam and metal laminates - by foaming plastics powder electrostatically spray coated on one side of metal

A layer of thermo-/duro-plastic synthetic powder contg. blowing agent which is electostically sprayed on 1 side of a metal article is foamed by heating. A lacquer/plastics layer on the other side of the metal sheet can be fired and dried by the heat used in foaming. Laminates used in partitions, roof construction and in thermal and electrical insulation. Duroplast used is epoxy resin, pref. as 10 wt. % of the coating.
