SOLUTION: This hand dryer is provided with a hand inserting part 2 for inserting a hand 5, a gas blowoff port 3 for blowing off gas toward the hand 5, a gas blowing means 11 for blowing the gas to this gas blowoff port 3, a water receiving part 8 for receiving the waterdrop blown away by the gas blown off from the gas blowoff port 3, a discharge passage 9 connected to this water receiving part 8 and discharging the waterdrop and a drain hose 10 connected to this discharge passage 9 and guiding the waterdrop to a washbowl.
