PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct, in real time, image deterioration caused by a lens in an imaging device which the lens is attachable to and detachable from. SOLUTION: In the imaging apparatus which a lens device is attachable to and detachable from, magnification color aberration correction information, which is characteristic information relating to the aberration of the lens, and surrounding light quantity decrease correction information are stored in the lens device when the aberration of the lens is corrected. When the lens device is connected to the imaging apparatus first time or power is turned on, the imaging apparatus communicates with the lens device, thereby receiving magnification color aberration correction information and surrounding light quantity decrease correction information, stored in the lens device.
