PURPOSE:To realize a transfer type ink jet recording apparatus capable of performing high-grade printing by replacing printing order corresponding to printing data density. CONSTITUTION:The number of dots at every writing block on an image memory 52 is counted by a dot count circuit 53 and a controller 51 determines the printing order of the printing block from the count result to transmit order data to a memory selector 54. At the time of the determination of the order, a limit is provided so as not to continuously print adjacent blocks. The memory selector 54 reads printing data from the image memory 52 on the basis of the order data to transmit the same to a recording head 21. The controller 51 drives a recording head moving device 23 corresponding to the printing order by a recording head moving device driver 55 to determine the position of the recording head. |
