PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the monitor system which can predict and detect a fault of a terminal in detail according to the kind of the terminal, etc., by comparing monitor information sent from the terminal with a threshold corresponding to the kind of the terminal and predicting and detecting the fault of the terminal. SOLUTION: In a fault information storage area 31 of a storage device, fault monitor information sent from the terminal is written and stored and in a threshold storage area 32, the threshold corresponding to the terminal kind is stored. A message receiving means 21 receives a fault monitor information notification message from the terminal and stores it in a fault monitor information storage area 31. A threshold comparing means 22 compares pieces of fault monitor information from terminals 11 to 15 which are stored in the fault monitor information storage area 31 with thresholds, corresponding to the terminals, which are stored in the threshold storage area 32 at fixed time intervals to extract a terminal whose threshold value is exceeded and outputs its fault monitor information to a printer 41 and a display screen 42.
