PURPOSE:To prevent an increase in treated water and larger size of an activated sludge vessel by providing a rectifying column and absorption column, separating and absorbing low-boiling components in a stock solution using exhaust gas and cooling water from an engine as heat sources. CONSTITUTION:A stock solution 101 is preheated with exhaust cooling water 111 from an engine 2 in a heat exchanger 7, heated with heated steam 104 through a heat exchanger 5 in a concentrating vessel 1 and concentrated. A drain 105 subjected to heat exchange in the heat exchanger 5 is led to a rectifying column 11 and distilling operation is repeated with a heat exchanger 10 using exhaust cooling water 110 from the engine 2 as a heat source to separate steam 113 and treated water 112, which is then passed through an absorption column 117 to adsorb low-boiling components therein. The steam 113 is subsequently cooled in a heat exchanger 9 to store distilled water 114 in a reflux vessel 12. |
