PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector excellent in contact reliability of a contact and with high productivity, without fear of crack or plastic deformation occurring in a contact. SOLUTION: A plurality of housing spaces 31 and retainer parts 32 penetrating the housing spaces 31 are formed in a housing 3. A contact 3 housed in each housing space 31 has formed an enclosure part 51 surrounding nearly a whole periphery of the retainer part 32, a first contact part 53 in contact with a contact pad of a first printed wiring board 8, a second contact part 54 in contact with a contact pad of a second printed wiring board 9, and a pair of folded parts 57 each intercalated between the enclosure part 51 and the first as well as the second contact parts 53, 54. Each folded part 57 is connected to either end of the enclosure part 51 and is composed of a first bent part 57a bent toward the retainer part 32, and a second bent part 57b connected to the first bent part 57a and bent nearly in a circle in a direction contrary to the first bent part 57a with a curvature radius larger than that of the first bent part 57a.
