In an injection moulding machine according to German Patent 3534254, an adapter piece 7, designed for deflecting the melt twice, is positioned in a recess 6 of the divided central platen 1 for each melt flow-way rail 2. Guiding and fitting pieces 9 serve for positioning. Arranged on the screw unit is a runner flange with a plurality of shut-off nozzles, which are designed for running onto the shut-off nozzles 10 of the adapter piece 7.
