PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endless belt satisfactory in resistance to adhesion of powder to the surface of a base layer.SOLUTION: An endless belt 1 has a base layer 2 formed in a cylindrical shape. The base layer 2 is formed from a cross-linked body of one or two types of polymer, selected from polyamide imide and polyimide, and contains acid. The base layer 2 preferably exceeds 45% in insoluble percentage expressed by m/M×100, where the mass of a specimen collected from the base layer 2 is M, and the dried mass of the insoluble portion of the specimen, and obtained after the immersion of the specimen in N-methyl-2-pyrolidone for 12 hours is m. It is preferable that the acid contain at least sulfonic acid and/or benzoic acid. |
