Layers of wood chips are spread on a plywood layer and wood chip mat is covered with another plywood layer. The whole is pressed into a board. Wood chips are orientated across the grain and travelling direction of the plywood. Edge regions have more chips and corners have double quantity of chips. Bonding adhesive is used for joining chips and covering layers. Material distribution improves strength of edges and corners.
