PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a control method and a device for marine internal combustion engine which are capable of realizing the ignition timing and fuel injection control by which the most suitable state of combustion is constantly obtained, regardless of two-cycle engine or four-cycle engine. SOLUTION: The fuel injection type internal combustion engine for outboard engine has a trim angle θ detecting means 39 for detecting the trim angle θwhich corresponds to the mounting angle of an outboard part, including the shaft of a propeller 10, and the opening of an exhaust pipe is provided at the mounting part of an outboard engine 38. Based on the engine speed and the throttle opening, the ignition timing and the basic controlled variable of fuel injection are calculated. In a control method for an electronic control type internal combustion engine which calculates the corrective quantity in relation to the basic controlled variable based on detected data on various operating conditions, data on the trim angle as detected data on the operating conditions are contained. |
