摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately grasp the remaining capacity of a battery, irrespective of the changes in its capacity due to environmental conditions for maintaining and managing the battery properly. SOLUTION: A dischargeable amount SD, as an energy amount capable of being outputted from the battery 1 at a temperature T of the battery 1 detected by a temperature detector 2, is obtained based on the temperature T, and by subtracting the dischargeable amount SD from a full capacity S of the battery 1 at the temperature T, a dischargeable amount SC is set as an energy amount, capable of being inputted into the battery 1 at the temperature T. Data of the dischargeable amount SD and data of the chargeable amount SC of the battery 1 at the temperature T are transmitted to a power generation unit ECU 20 from a battery ECU 10, and the chargeable amount SC and the dischargeable amount SD of the battery 1 are compared with prescribed thresholds, to control charging the discharging of the battery 1 in the power generation ECU 20.
