PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the shock-resistant properties of a battery packaging body when shock caused by vibration or dropping is applied by arranging a cushioning plate between at least one of the projecting side terminal surface or the plane side terminal surface of a battery and a heat shrinkable tube. SOLUTION: When dry batteries 1 are housed in parallel in two or more lines in a paper-made rectangular container, a buffer plate 3 is arranged between the projecting side terminal surface or a plane side terminal surface of the battery and a heat shrinkable tube 2. Even if shock is applied by vibration or falling down in the longitudinal direction to the battery, the cushioning plate 3 absorbs the shock from the projection part of the projecting side terminal surface faced to the plane side terminal surface and coming in contact with the plate 3, breakage of a sealing part of the battery 1 is prevented, and shock resistance is increased. When a strong shock is applied by vibration or falling down to the battery 1, even if the shock is strong to such a degree that the projection part of the projecting side terminal of the battery 1 makes dent in the plane side terminal surface, the shock is decreased through the plate 3, shock-resistant properties are increased, and the danger of breaking a sealing part, by deformation of the plane side terminal surface, to generate electrolyte leakage is decreased. |
