<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plug direction regulating device which is applicable to regulation of a direction of a plug or a container or both of the them when predetermined directionality is required between the container and the plug. <P>SOLUTION: The plug direction regulating device is formed of: a plug holding means for holding a plug which has a horizontal notch formed in a discoid flange portion, by a plug retainer and a plug receiver; a hoisting/lowering means for hoisting/lowering the plug receiver; a rotating means for rotating the hoisting/lowering means; an elastic means for allowing hoisting; a detecting means for detecting the circumferential location of the plug in the outer periphery of the flange portion of the plug holding means; and a stopping means for stopping rotation of the plug in response to a detected signal, and regulating the circumferential location of the plug. The detecting means is formed of a phase claw which locks and detects the horizontal notch of the flange portion of the rotary plug, and the stopping means is provided with an electromagnetic clutch which stops the rotation of the plug in response to the detected signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
