<p>PURPOSE:To provide an inverted-L-shape sliding contact having the smooth tip surface by pressing the teeth-of-comb-like tip ends to form them into the circular-arc shape, and thereafter, forming them into the inverted-L shape. CONSTITUTION:One side of a flat belt-like material composed of Ag at 40%, Pd at 40% and Cu at 20% and having 0.08mm of thickness and 18mm of width is punched by a progressive die into teeth-of-comb-shape 1' having the circular- arc and smooth tips. These tips are formed into the inverted-L shape, and cut to form a sliding contact 2. The sliding contact, which can make contact stably and which has a long lifetime, is thereby obtained without wearing an opposite board abnormally at the time of sliding contact.</p> |
