The shears comprise a pair of blades 30 and a pair of handles 20. Each handle 20 is connected to a respective blade 30 by a turnable and lockable joint (23, Fig.6) having an axis transverse to the handle 20. Each handle 20 can be turned about the axis of the joint (23, Fig.6) from one position in the plane of the pair of blades (Fig. 4) to provide lawn edging shears to a second position standing up from said plane to provide long-handled trimming shears (Fig.5). |
