PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an electric parking brake to appropriately perform a clearance adjustment operation.SOLUTION: A parking brake control device 18 estimates an abrasion degree (abrasion amount) of a brake pad 23 on the basis of a travel distance L acquired from a vehicle data bus 16. The parking brake control device determines whether the travel distance L from timing at which a parking brake is last released has become equal to or larger than a threshold Ls, and determines whether an automatic adjustment control condition is satisfied. The parking brake control device thereby executes an automatic adjustment control in a non-braked state where a vehicle is stopped to turn off an ignition switch and the vehicle is not locked. As a result, it is possible to hold down the execution frequency of the automatic adjustment control to a minimal frequency and to reduce a load acting on an electric parking brake (disc brake 21).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
