An objective of the present invention is to provide a hair-removal processing device whereupon console buttons having the same functionality are disposed on two sites in a hand piece in which it is possible to change a grip according to a processing site, and with which it is possible to safely and effectively operate illumination of a beam from the emission of light from a xenon tube. This hair-removal processing device is configured from a control unit (2) which carries out a supply of electricity to a xenon tube (56) via a console unit (3); and a hand piece main body (50) which carries out a hair-removal illumination operation by being connected to the control unit (2) via an electricity delivery cable (4). A bar-shaped grip unit (59) is disposed on the base end part of the hand piece main body (50), the hand piece main body (50) is formed such that the upper face has an approximately protruding semicircular arc shape and the both sides have an approximately flat shape so as to be grippable with the palm of one hand, and a first illumination button (51) and a second illumination button (52) are disposed on the upper face leading end part of the approximately protruding semicircular arc shape, and on the grip unit (59), respectively, of the hand piece main body.
