<p>Materials having affinity for LTA, PrA, aHL and/or proteases are prepared by introducing functional groups capable of forming hydrogen bonds to base materials. The materials thus prepared can rapidly detoxify or remove LTA, PrA, aHL and/or proteases even in blood, plasma or other solutions having high protein concentrations, and provide materials for the removal or detoxification of LTA, PrA, aHL and/or proteases, e.g., body fluid depurating columns for the removal of LTA, PrA, aHL and/or proteases and covering materials exhibiting adsorptivity for LTA, PrA, aHL and/or proteases.</p> |
