PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely inhibit the operation of a side air bag when a child seated in a front passenger seat is in a sleeping posture leaning on a door side. SOLUTION: A high-frequency oscillation circuit is connected to 6 first antenna electrodes 29a to 29f buried in the center part of the seat back 27 of a front passenger seat and, by detecting an output current flowing when a human body approaches the antenna electrodes 29a to 29f, the seating the child of a low seat height is determined. By one second antenna electrode 29g buried in the side part of the seat back 27, the posture of the child leaning on a door side is determined. When an occupant is a child leaning on the door side, the operation of a side air bag device 2 housed in the side part of the seat bag 27 is inhibited, and the interference of the side air bag with the head part of the occupant is prevented. |
