PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump structure improved in productivity in structure to hold a shaft or an impeller with a boss portion which is provided on a case member side, in a pump chamber. SOLUTION: An impeller holding boss portion 54 for holding an impeller 26 and a shaft holding boss portion 40 for holding a shaft 42 are provided in a pump chamber 18 of a fluid pump 10. A casing 16 is integrally molded with the impeller holding boss portion 54 by using a resin, and a pump body 30 is integrally molded with the shaft holding boss portion 40 by using the resin. A slide-type heat radiating structure for radiating the heat in a cooling process when molding the resin is provided on a proximal end side and a distal end side of the boss portions 54 and 40. With this structure, cooling time when molding the resin can be shortened, securing dimensional accuracy of the boss portions. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
