PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device that prevents the occurrence of a vertical striped pattern in the background of a composite image when performing panning. SOLUTION: Five images continuous in time-series are acquired by a CMOS sensor 3 in a panning mode so as to make one of the plurality of acquired images as a reference image while the remaining images are made as target images. Next, a plurality of parameters are calculated by a block matching part 16 and a feature-amount calculation part 15 in order to execute alignment conversion such that each main subject part of each of the four target images is superimposed on the main subject part of the reference image. Then, the images are composited by an image deformation/composition addition part 17 such that the main subject parts are respectively superimposed with each other while attenuating alignment degrees of the parameters as being separated from a prescribed part.
