Method of detecting leakage in pneumatic systems and an arrangement for implementing the method. For detecting leakage in pneumatic systems, use is made of photoluminous tracing liquid which is introduced into the system in a mixture with a volatile distribution liquid and is spread in finely distributed form by means of compressed air. The system is then illuminated externally with radiation which causes photoluminescence, any leaks then becoming visible. The mixture of tracing liquid and distribution liquid can suitably be introduced by means of an injector 6 in the form of a container 13 which accommodates a suitable quantity of the mixture and is provided with members 10, 12 for connection to a suitable inlet on the pneumatic system and to a compressed-air holder. <IMAGE> |
