METHOD OF TREATING DIABETES

PURPOSE: To provide a method effective for preventing the attack, inhibiting the development or delaying the progress of insulin-dependent diabetes of mammal. CONSTITUTION: The attack of insulin-dependent diabetes of mammal is prevented, its development is inhibited and its progress is retarded by administering the mammal with an effective amount of lavamycin singly or in combination with insulin.
