As the resolution of a display device gets higher, pixel number, gate line number, and signal line number increase. As gate line number and signal line number increase, integration of ICs with a driving circuit for operating them becomes challenging, which leads to problem of manufacturing cost increase. A thin-film transistor, which has a pixel unit and a driving circuit for operating the pixel unit on the same board, and uses oxide semiconductor, with gate electrodes inserted to its top and bottom, to form at least part of the driving circuit, is used for configuration. Integration of a pixel unit and a driving circuit for operation on the same board reduces manufacturing cost. |
