<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a small sized and light weight recorder not requiring expendables by raising the temperature of a recording sheet member where microcapsule cholesteric liquid crystal is scattered so as to form a picture thereby using the recording member repetitively. CONSTITUTION:In depressing a start button for forming a picture, a plunger 13 is energized and a platen 11 is moved to press the recording member 2 in press contact onto a thermal head 10. The recording member 2 is wound on a roller 6 by a motor 8 at a constant speed. An output device 27 outputs a picture signal to a recording head drive circuit 25 in synchronism with the movement of the member 2 to heat up the thermal head 10. The member 2 is formed by providing a protection layer formed by scattering fluororesin on the surface of a sheet base scattered with a microcapsule cholesteric liquid crystal, colored by temperature rise and the color disappears by the cooling by a cooling roller 21.</p> |
