PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an RCS(resin coated sand) composition for mold in which the moisture in the RCS for molding the mold can easily be removed and the stable molding for mold can be performed without using the large scaled appara tus and a large quantity of heat energy. SOLUTION: The RCS composition for molding the mold, is prepared by mixing powdery and granular moisture absorbent separatable with the RCS. The RCS is stored suitably in almost closed state and is used to the molding with or/without removing the moisture absorbent just before molding the mold.
