PURPOSE:To avoid the waste in a program processing and to improve the overall processing capacity of a multi-processor system, by transferring data to a mechanism part control processor from an interface control processor at the speed corresponding to the extra processing capacity of said mechanism part control processor. CONSTITUTION:A mechanism part control processor 3 decides its own extra processing capacity while performing the processing and outputs a state information signal 4 to inform its decided extra processing capacity to an interface control processor 1. Then the data received from a host device are transferred to the processor 3 from the processor 1 in response to the signal 4 that informs the extra processing capacity of the processor 3 and at the speed corresponding to this processing capacity. Thus it is possible to avoid the waste of the program processing and to improve the overall processing capacity of a multi- processor system.
